How do you prepare it?

1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime or lemon.
1 teaspoon honey to taste. (optional)

It’s quite easy to prepare. Combine all ingredients and stir.
You can enjoy it hot or cold.

Asides weight loss properties it offers, you can enjoy it for the following health benefits:

1.Reduces symptoms of cold and flu.
2.Prevents motion sickness for travellers.
3.It reduces morning sickness for pregnant women.
4.Helps proper digestion of food.
5.Alleviates constipation pains and symptoms.
6.Relieves symptoms of stress by relaxing the nerves.
7.It reduces painful mensuration.
8.Also improves blood circulation.

Replace sugary drinks with ginger tea for maximum weight loss benefits. Please don’t be tempted to add sugar so as not to sabotage your weight loss efforts.( see the dangers of sugar). Adding lime or lemon improves the taste and gives it a push in speeding up metabolism for weight loss.

NOTE: Although this drink is generally safe, people on blood thinning medications should consult their doctor before usage. Drinking more than 5 cups could also cause diarrhoea.
